AUA offers informational lectures, Open Houses, and application help dates. Please refer to the calendar of events for details. We highly encourage you to attend at least one of each event to ensure you have all the information regarding admissions to AUA.
Military Deferment
Male applicants who request military deferment in their application form must submit a complete application by the regular admissions deadline date. Not all applicants requesting military deferment will receive it.
Application Deadlines
We strongly recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible and well before deadline. Applicants who submit complete applications earlier will typically be notified of their admissions status earlier.
You can submit your applications for Fall 2016 starting at the end of December 2015. Complete applications received before the Early or Regular Admissions Deadline date will be given priority for admissions. Pending space availability, applicants may submit applications by the rolling admissions deadline date. Deadline dates for Fall 2016 admissions are as follows:
Admissions Application Deadlines (if an application deadline date falls on a non-working day, you may submit your application package on the following working day):
Early Admissions: January 31
Regular Admissions: March 31
Rolling Admissions*: June 30 (for TEFL and MBA applicants)
Rolling Admissions*: July 31, 2016 (for LL.M., PSIA, MSE, MPH, IESM, and CIS applicants)
* Applicants submitting complete applications by the rolling admissions deadline date are considered on a space-available basis.
You should take all required exams on or by the deadline date to which you plan to submit your complete application. It is your responsibility to ensure that AUA receives official test score reports of these exams by indicating the required institution codes. Incomplete applications as of March 31 will be placed in the rolling admissions pool.
